Donations to the Monument of the Heart of Jesus will go towards the construction of the monument and a percentage will go towards works of mercy among the most needy in the diocese.
What do I have to do to donate and how is the donor's name registered?
All donations to the Monument of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be made through the website: www.corazondejesusboadilla.org. When making the donation through the various pre-established procedures you must indicate unless you wish to remain anonymous: Heart + Donor's name. A memorial donation can also be made in the name of a deceased person or an unborn child. Given the impossibility of verifying the identity of all the names to be inscribed, names that are notoriously offensive or have negative or denigrating connotations will not be inscribed.
The fruits of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus are innumerable and impossible to measure humanly. Around the monument, we can experience the greatness of his love.
The main benefit for donors will be to treasure merits in heaven as an expression of their devotion. As a visible sign, the names of those who contribute €5 or more may be engraved on the surface of the large golden heart, in memory of the promise that the Heart of Jesus made to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque:
"People who propagate this devotion will have their name written in my Heart and it will never be erased from it."
